Jaipur was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. It is a planned city built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful state. It was made attractive with the pink wash - a traditional color of welcome in 1853 in honor of the visit of Prince Albert.

1500 Hrs Proceed to visit Amber Fort 

Amber Fort is an opulent palace complex made of red sandstone and marble. It is set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh the fort was made in red sand stone and white marble. Shila Devi Temple the famous idol of goddess Durga situated in the Amber Fort. It is believe that Maharaja Mansingh brought the statue of the goddess Shila Devi from jessore (Now in Bangladesh) and install it in a temple. Amber is the classic and romantic fort-palace with a magnificent aura. The rugged forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise with a beautiful fusion of art and architecture.The interior wall of the palace depicts expressive painting scenes with carvings, precious stones and mirror settings.

Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons.

1800 Hrs Dinner Proceed for dinner at Hotel Rambagh Palace.

Dinner at Rambagh Palace. Originally built in 1835, Rambagh Palace, has stepped gracefully through many royal transitions—from the home of the queen’s favourite handmaiden, to royal guesthouse and hunting lodge, and later as the residence of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Maharani Gayatri Devi. Today, convert in to a luxury hotel. The palace retains its royal splendour, hand-carved marble latticework, and elaborate gardens.

2200 Hrs Maharajas' Express leaves for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore)

Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the world’s best known wilderness areas. Once a private game reserve of the royal House of Jaipur. Located 14 kilometres from Sawai Madhopur and at the junction of some of the geologically oldest mountain ranges-the Aravallis and Vindyas - Ranthambore offers some of the finest opportunities for sighting the magnificent tiger in the wild. Park terrain is a major wildlife tourist attraction that has drawn the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers from all over the world.

Fatehpur Sikri a city predominantly in red sand-stone, situated at a distance of 37 kms from Agra, was built by the Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Mohammad Akbar, in honour of the great Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, & the other palaces.

Agra is a popular tourist destination for its Mughal period architecture, among them, the most well-known one is Taj Mahal UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Taj Mahal (One of the Seven wonders of the world) is a breathtaking white-marble mausoleum commissioned by Mughul emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore described as "the tear-drop on the cheek of time".

0715 Hrs Disembark at Jhansi railway station and proceed for Orchha by road. Visit Orchha Fort and Village Tour by Tuk Tuks.

Orchha means 'hidden', this beautiful small town is really a hidden gem in the whole of Indian tourism. Situated on the shores of Betwa river in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. For this medieval city, the hand of time has rested and the palaces and the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century retain much of their pristine perfection. Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful Chhatries, commands a spectacular view of soaring temple-spires and cenotaphs.

Orchha Fort (Orchha Ka Quila). Like most medieval forts, Orchha Fort Complex has its own share of legends and mysteries. It is one of the popular forts in Madhya Pradesh and also the prime places to visit in Orchha. Built by Rudra Pratap Singh, a Bundela Rajput king, in 16th century. The palaces and temples within the fort complex were built over a period of time by successive Maharajas of Orchha State. The fort palaces showcase a supreme display of Mughal-influenced Rajput architecture. After visiting Orchha Fort continue to Village tour by Tuk Tuks.

0945 Hrs Return back to Maharajas Express Train and proceed to Khajuraho.

A small Town located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is renowned for its plethora of medieval Hindu and Jain temples. Capital of the Chandela Rajputs during the 10th and 12th centuries, the place still makes a bold artistic statement through its exemplary and erotic group of monuments, which are even listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sculptured figures that bedeck the facades and interiors of these temples lure tourists from all across the globe.

1300 Hrs Lunch on board.

1530 Hrs Arrive Khajuraho and proceed to visit Western Group of Temples.

Visit the Western Group of temples, the most important temple being the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple-dedicated to Lord Shiva. Chaunsat Yogini Temple-dedicated to the 64 "Yoginis" or attendants of Goddess Kali. Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely sculpture of Lord Vishnu in his 11-headed form.

Varanasi or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world. The land of Varanasi (Kashi) has been the ultimate pilgrimage spot for Hindus for ages. Hindus believe that one who is graced to die on the land of Varanasi would attain salvation and freedom from the cycle of birth and re-birth. The city is a center of learning and civilization for over 3000 years.

1135 Hrs Arrive into Varanasi. Proceed for Lunch at Taj Ganges Hotel

1330 Hrs Visit Sarnath ruins followed by visit to silk weaving centre

Sarnath is at a distance of 10 Kms from the Varanasi city. It is the most famous pilgrimage centre of Buddhists. Siddhartha (Lord Buddha), after gaining Bodhisattva at Bodhgaya, and becoming Buddha, gave, his first sermon at this Deer park (Mrigdav). He got His first disciple here and later on number went on increasing and first Sangh was formed. Buddhism started from this place and spread in many countries of the world. The remains date back to as far as the3rd-Century BC when Emperor Ashoka founded various institutions, stupas, monasteries and pillar Edicts. Visit the art collection at the Archaeological Museum (Museum closed on Friday). The main attraction is the superb Capital from Ashokan Pillar - the Ashokan symbol of four back-to-back Lions which has been adopted as the state symbol Independent India. Also visit the Mahabodhi'Buddha temple and walk around the Deer Park. Later see the Monastery ruins area, Dhameka Stupa. After visiting Sarnath proceed to visit silk weaving centre

In the evening the Ghats and temples are lit with oil-lamp lights. The Ganga Aarti Ceremony held every evening at the Dasashwamedh Ghat at Varanasi is one of the most spectacular religious rituals carried out in the world. The whole aarti is a visual treat
